she hugs you tight to say good bye whispering sweet things to you
she walks back to her door and as you walk back to your car
she blows you a kiss good bye you think shell always be there for you never seem to doubt your self never think otherwise
and on your drive back home you see red and blue lights reflect of you rearviewmirrors behind you
pulls you off the side of the road same lines same lies as always but you cant think of what to say you cant explain the lights you ran so you payoff that dirty cop you try to get rid of him as fast as you can try to get the stench of your self
you get back on your car nothing happened no one knows your off the hook the cop is gone its all between you and the night so you work all day non stop 8-8 just barley getting by just enough to survive you think of what you might do with a little more extra time now its time to clock out and your too stressed to go to bed so you head down to the bar where everyone know how you are you take down a few beer you know you should cut back you tell your self youll quit next week when everything is sorted out but you know nothing will get better cause you are stuck in the middle class you read the papers someones dead another shooting 8 more dead but this time close to where you hang out with your friends its getting weird your getting scared theres gun smoke in your head self doubt in the air take it in take another breath.
